An Examination of Marc Lemire: Part VII

This extension of the Lemire articles is in direct response to the statement made by Lemire in August (repeated in December) when asked by Ezra Levant about his involvement in the Heritage Front:
Uh, the Heritage Front uh, was active back in, uh, the the 90s and I was a young kid at the time. I had some, uh, interest in some of the things that they were doing in particularly thing like uh opposition to employment equity, things like reducing immigration. So I uh, listened to some of what they were about, and uh, I went away from it. I mean I was involved with them peripherally in my teenage years.
Now, for someone who claims to have only been peripherally involved with the Heritage Front in his teenage years, it is interesting that he has surrounded himself with people who were members of the Heritage Front.

In the last post on the subject, we included a newpaper article from July 21, 1998 which provides information concerning Heritage Front activities in Kingston, ON.  At this point the Heritage Front was still active, but it is pretty clear that the Bristow affair had resulted in a precipitous decline in the fortunes of hate group (there would be a brief resurgence in 2001, though this too would be short lived), but it is clear that Droege and the remaining chapters across Canada were still trying to make conversions.

When we looked at the article again, one name (other than Droege) jumped out at us:

To state that Louis Morin was the leader of the Kingston chapter of the Heritage Front is a bit grandiose, since by this time he was really the only remaining member of the group in Kingston aside from a few hanger-ons. But what he lacked in numbers, he made up in commitment to the cause..... such as it was.

What is also interesting is that he is still kicking around in cyberspace:

We also managed to find Louis posting with some degree of regularity on Stormfront:

Oh, and by the way, here is another reason why we might be a bit concerned about individuals such as Morin:

So, Morin was a member of the Heritage Front (one who evidently was entrusted with some of Wolfgang Droege's personal effects). And?

Well, we suppose it is just interesting that Marc Lemire, someone who claims to have been only peripherally involved with the Heritage Front as a teenager, would happen to count Morin here as a friend:

A friend who considers Marc Lemire to be among the best, "WN's" in the world:

If it was only Morin, then one might be able to excuse the relationship as merely a coincidence.

But Morin isn't the only former Heritage Front member that Lemire is/was friends with.

What? You thought we only had one, grainy photo of Lemire and Morin?

Marc Lemire with three Heritage Front members: Wolfgang Droege,
Max French, and Louis Morin

Marc with Wolfgang and Louis in Winnipeg (1998)

Marc with Jason Ouwendyk (former spokesperson for the
Northern Alliance) and Bill Livingston, head of the
Heritage Front's Niagara chapter.

Wolfgang and Marc hanging out at the Hooters restaurant in the
West Edmonton Mall (around 1998 again)
Marc and Wolfgang in British Columbia
Paulie and Wolfgang hanging out at Morin's apartment in Kingston
back in the 1990s
Okay, the last photo might be a bit out of place, but suffice it to say that having four friends who were high ranking members of the Heritage Front sort of leads one to conclude that your association with the group was a little more than peripheral.

Wait. Not. Not four friends. Five. We can't forget the editor of the Heritage Front's journal Gerry Lincoln, both of whom worked to produce the video eulogy of Wolfgang Droege:

Keep Gerry's name in mind. It might be popping up again in the next posting on this subject.

So at least five high profile members of the Heritage Front.

Does that look like a peripheral association to you, dear reader?

Well, if only there was more evidence attesting to Marc's membership in the Heritage Front, not as a teenager but as a fully aware adult.

Right. The "Community Health Alert" fliers (which includes the url to both the Heritage Front and Freedom-Site):

Isn't that the same flier Marc is holding up here:

And didn't the Heritage Front mention something about this on their website under the heading, "Heritage Front Warns Hamilton Residents of Threat Posed by Immigration"?
"The event was very successful and the reception we received from Hamilton residents is very encouraging" says Marc Lemire, one of the event organizers. "Everyone we spoke to was very supportive and one eager resident, who lives down the street from Henderson Hospital, immediately reached into his pocket and gave us a donation on the spot to help continue our work."
This, our dear readers, would be another teaser.
